Question: Can I add essential oils or Vicks VapoSteam?

Answer: This humidifier features a Medicine Cup that can be used with your favorite essential oil or liquid inhalant (like Vicks VapoSteam) for added enjoyment. The cup is heated to help evaporate the oil. This is not a diffuser – the oil does
not meet the water but is passively evaporated into the air. Essential oil and inhalant are not included.

Turn off the humidifier.
Add 1 Tablespoon Vicks VapoSteam or a few drops of essential oil to the Medicine Cup. Turn on the humidifier.
To clean the Medicine Cup wait 5 minutes after turning the unit off. Then gently wipe residue from the cup with a soft cloth.

Answer: Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up your Vicks EasyCare+ TopFill Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier.

Remove packaging materials. Keep instructions.
Remove twist tie and extend power cord.
Place on a firm, level, water resistant surface a minimum of 12” (30cm) from any walls. Mist should be directed away from any walls, bedding and furniture.
Plug adapter cord into port on back of unit
Install float paddle: Line up the Float Paddle with the dashed line float paddle shape on the bottom of the Reservoir. Place paddle over brackets. It does NOT snap in, it is simply set in place.
Open lid flap and fill tank
Close lid flap and ensure tank is securely seated on base before plugging in and turning on.

Question: Is this humidifier dishwasher safe?

Answer: The mist outlet, outlet gasket, outlet cover, tank cover, and mist chamber are all top rack dishwasher safe. Do not place in the bottom rack of the dishwasher
