As cold temperatures set in, humidity levels drop. Cold air is unable to hold as much moisture as warm air. Because of this, when we heat our home the relative humidity level can drop as low as 10%. This is drier than the Sahara Desert and can contribute to drier skin, as well as nose and throat discomfort. It can also cause static electricity, and plants and furniture to dry it. Some people experience discomfort when humidity levels are lower than 25%. A comfortable humidity should be between 40-60%.

Question: Which filter fits the Ultimate Pitcher?
Answer: PUR’s filters are built with universal fit. Meaning you can use any pitcher filter in any PUR pitcher.
Question: Are any of the peices of my pitcher dishwasher safe?
Answer: Please see the cleaning section of your pitcher’s Owner’s Manual, this will inform you if any parts can be placed in the dishwasher.
Question: Should I soak my filter before use?
Answer: Yes. Pitcher filters need to be soaked in cold water for 15 minutes and then held under cold running water for 10 seconds. Prior to each use, run cold water for 5 seconds in filtered position to activate filter.
